Road Rage!

Nothing much happening of late. PMR is looming around the corner. X.X

 ARGH!!!!

Hahaha this vid is so damn funny, lol! Click here for the link.

Speaking of which, does that picture remind you of Solomon Vandy from the film Blood Diamond? It sure does to me. XD

Maybe this will refresh your memory.

ROAR!!!!

Watch see the full shovel scene here.

Andrew's Wicka Wow

 So what's been happening guys?

I assume you have already seen Andrew's Picasa album. If not, you can take a look at it here. Some pics are nice, but some pics aren't so they're all like rojak.

Well, at least I know that none of those pictures can beat

THIS! :

 SuPahMoDoL! =O

Look at that, mmm mhmm! LOVE how the light falls radiantly on his skin, reflecting a sparkling white off his eyes.

It's unedited okay! Unlike most of his photos where he played with the contrast and light effects. He also looks as if he's staring right out of the screen into you, which I find a bit scary..

My Teacher's A Gamer

Woah, just found out that my Art teacher's a passionate gamer.. O.O

She brought her trusty pink dell notebook into class today, set it on my brother's table and showed us some of her favourite videos ranging from stuff

about dried ice to documentaries about creatures of the deep. Pretty boring, until she looked at me and asked me about games.

She revealed to me that she played quite a few popular online games in the past but COD4 remained to be her favourite. Woah! I would never have guessed her to be the gaming type, turns out she's even anticipating Diablo 3! =O

It felt awesome but strangely awkward at the same time because we were both relating to each other about games from teacher to student.

So I was really surprised because it was a teacher who knew the most about gaming than any other person in my class. XD

After watching a youtube vid where the masked magician was revealed to be Val Valentino. lol

Picasa?

Dusk

Andrew hates Picasa now because it destroys the quality of his pictures. Planning to add a photo stream of his undiscovered album in the sidebar soon..

He wants to share his new hobby with you guys.. How

sweet.. =)

And, I gave RM5 of credit to some Indian guy yesterday..

Video-reviewed!

Yeahhh! This is the first time that any of my work had been video-reviewed! XD

You're wondering what sort of work, perhaps? Well.. I wanted to show a favorite video to Andrew so I searched my username in youtube and among the search results, there's this one video that caught my eye..

It was titled "Medal Of Honor Allied Assault- Test Crash" and it struck me with

much familarity that it was the name the first map I had ever designed for Medal Of Honor 3 years ago in 2006!

My heart leaped. I started watching the video and there it was, this 14 year old guy reviewing my screwed up map that I had submitted. =D

Then I went back to the old site where it was submitted and it had surprisingly good comments! ^^

Freewebs

Woah, I just rediscovered my first website/fansite I had created back in 2004! =O At that time I was a nut for Starcraft so it was aptly named Starcraftgoods. :D

Interesting to think that I was so engrossed in editing my website that I even added fake banners, a background soundtrack, a downloads section and even extended it to a second domain!

Ahh, brings back old memories..

Freewebs.com was so cool for me. It was where I started to really learn about HTML.. Now all I can really remember subjectively is making a hyperlink.. Argh..

Lightbox

Hmm.. Never knew such things as a lightbox existed.. I had always wondered how they produce pictures of phones with nothing else but a white background..

Well, now I know that they do it in a lightbox.

With Andrew's enthusiasm for photography of late, he even constructed his own lightbox out of a cut up tissue box and A4 papers. XD

Pretty good job for a homemade lightbox eh? Sad that we didn't have enough light sources to completely erase the shadows..

67th?!

Hehahehoo, he looks funny here

Stare at it for awhile, it gives you some mysterious mona-liza vibes. He's smiling, isn't he? Or is he sad? :O

Weng's back.. I guess that means he didn't win it eh... Nvm, you did good! And you didn't have to keep it from your own brother.

And, I have been warned by UMG for using a copyrighted audio in my youtube vid. =.=

Crave

Exactly what I'm craving for right now.. :(

Damn, can't stop eating and eating lately.. Currently addicted to Satu Malaysia as well as being surprised that we could actually produce a decent song.

Hmm, looks like that's all.. Off I go now to pwn Andrew's ass in Starcraft, 11 years since its release and still running strong. XD

Flame

Woke up to a blackout early in the morning. Nothing to do so I took picture of a candle. :D Had to decrease the exposure like hell just to see the shape of the flame.

Argh! A huge pile of books tumbled down on my laptop just

now, leading to a noticeable crack on my unprotected screen.

And, my sis's blog is now private again. o.O

Clocked

PMR starts on the 7th of October, and that's in 45 days!

Damn, time is running out.. :O Oh well, I'm just gonna start on the first of next month.

Hmm, Gav got hit in the balls today. Could tell it that it really hurt with his expression. The look on his face literally made everyone chortle, Barat the most. Karma struck him later as he fell attempting to jump over a railing. XD

Just Great.

I hate just how people so blindly think highly of themselves.

I hate how people bid the most pity for the smallest of things.

I hate the fact that the people who grumble the most eventually gets their way whereas the ones who faultlessly chose to be quiet are left alone or even more so misunderstood.

Well isn't that a load of pure SHIT. Or is it?
Woops sorry, I got too excited with font sizes and styles just now. I just learned html.

It's disgusting to see so many people trying to be mavericks. There are people who try to be philosophical and on all counts fail. And there are others who are blatant attention-seekers.

So if you think that I'm just talking crap, go die. What I say is the truth, that's life. Yup. Scratch that. First of all, self-reflecting is not making yourself any less half-witted than the others who miserably fail at making some kind of "i'm emo, cause that's life" message.

You're pissed. That's just it. Keep it to yourself you fucktard.
Oops, sorry. It's just that there's so many people like you out there trying to display some kind of "difference" that happens in your life as if God is out to get you, and I had never once talked about it.

Maybe it's just true that we have to voice out because there's just no other way for us to be heard. Grow up. =.=

Melaka Street

Argh, pic turned out terrible..
Oh well, restaurant has a nice name though. :D

Oh, and my sis's blog is now public..

Table Baby

Sooo cute isn't it? At first I thought the baby passed out or something..
Was eating at Station 21 with Ray and Barat when we saw a baby sleeping on the table while his parents were eating.

Fire Fire

When Andrew and I were young, we were so curious and used to play with fire ALOT! (Secretly of course, mostly when our parents weren't home)

We would collect dried up leaves in our garden and started burning them. XD

So one day, we were bored, Andrew held a pile of tissue in his hand while I lighted it up with a match heheh. But, instead of doing it in the safety of our garden, it was in our bedroom!

The tissue started spreading fiercely and Andrew's hand was getting hotter and hotter. He panicked, squealed, and quickly dumped it into the trash bin. We thought that the fire would have been put out, but it grew a feet tall and it scared the shit out of us!

We both started screaming and then we ran out of the room to go downstairs looking for our maid. No sign of her in the living room, so we went to the kitchen and the back porch but she still wasn't there.

We ran back up into the room and the fire was BIGGER! Then luckily, our maid heard us and came out of my parent's room. (god knows what she was doing in there, probably stealing some money =.=)

We watched as she quickly carried it with her hands, leaving behind a brownish wall, into the toilet and put it out with the sink tap water.

Hurray! Our maid saved us. But she still sucks. ;)

Yut Kee

Just ate Hainanese-Western food in Yut Kee at Jalan Dang Wangi, formerly known as Jalan Campbell the other morning. They served great food. And it's an 81 year old restaurant! :D

Eggies

Their toasted bread and half-boiled eggs really rocked!

One thing I liked a lot about Yut Kee is that they serve really authentic Hainanese and western style food, partly because their founder is from Hainan. XD

Among their specialties are :
Pork Chop, Chicken Chop, Beef Noodles, Marble Cake, Kaya rolls, half-boiled eggs and more. Ahh.. I just love them!

Congratz to Weng

Don't mind the big nose, he was face-warped.

Weng is currently ranked first in Malaysia!!

Congratulations to Weng for winning a 6 day 5 night travel award to the Pokémon Trading Card Game World Championships to be held August 13–15, 2009, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, in San Diego, California!!

This is something he is really embarrassed about, but come on! To all those people who laughed at the idea that he competes in Pokemon tournaments, see if you can beat him yourself.
All the best Weng! XD

Urban Prophet

Woah, one day I was so bored that I started playing flash games on my new notebook because it's not even powerful enough to play any decent graphical games.

After several minutes playing sidescrollers, base defense, stickman and zombie-killing games did I suddenly recall URBANPROPHET!

Probably you won't have any idea what I'm talking about.
You see, there's this indy flash maker from Quebec, Canada by the name of Urbanprophet who made this phenomenal hit flash game called Urbanslug.

A million users in just a month after its release, now that's something. It hooked so many users including Andrew and I! XD

He even establish a decent fan community website for his work at http://urbanprophet.com

Back in 2005, Andrew and I were constantly participating in countless of forum discussions, polls and suggestion threads. We were so in love with the concept of the game and we dreaded each version release. In fact, we were one of the first few who followed the site from the start.

As we watch the site expand in users, anticipated each version release - Urbanslug 2, Urbanslug 2.1, Urbanslug 2.2 and even got to play his side projects, a flash trading card game called Gekisen and a vietnam war game called Mud and Blood, things got boring for us.

We got tired of waiting for each game to come out. They usually took somewhere around four to six months and in late 2006, we grew up. Before we left the site for good, we "cracked".

We wanted to sign off with a bang. Years of hard-earned reputation as two of the top users at the site was gone in an instant. We abused the forum. We started a thread, claiming that his games suck and asked people to join our cause. Regrettably, call it childish as you may ;D, we used vulgarities and our accounts were banned in a short amount of time. If I recalled correctly, we had our IP address banned temporarily too XD

I'm surprised that he's still doing this after these years, so if you guys wanna try those flash games and see what I mean, click the link above.

Promise?

Taken at Mum's Place somewhere in damansara jaya i think.. It was on the wall beside the entrance to the washroom. Lol, a waiter actually thought I was trying to take a picture of the toilet bowl.

Piczy

Ahh.. bored.. So I'm just gonna post pictures for the sake of updating. Last month, I had to write 500 lines, Pn. Azirah's punishment for not finishing her homework. =.=

Modern Warfare 2

Sequel to the award-winning first person shooter, it will be released on the 10th of November 2009 (11/10/09). With the photo-realistic graphics, it'll be awesome after PMR!!

Rakuzen

Feeling so lazy to update... Maybe blogging isn't for me, but I'll still try - although I have found much purpose in Twitter.

Rakuzen, located in Sri Hartamas is just plain awesome. :D
The pics aren't edited whatsoever..

Baba : I don't care and why are you speaking malay??

Abah : Crazy Frog!!!

Ass CRACK >.<

Horrible horrible sight this lunch!!!!! Saw a lady with no underwear and her ass was DISGUSTING...

Rice Grain

Had fried rice for dinner, i swallowed sloppily and a rice grain got stuck in the beginning of the right nasal passage way. It felt... weird and irritating. o.o

Sunway

Met a gay malay guy wearing a pink collared shirt at sunway pyramid yesterday. The guy thought I was malay and cracked a puasa joke with me. Then i replied something in BM, and he asked whether I was mixed. I replied and said that I was chinese, then he started calling me Leng Chai in a gay voice.. O.o

Hair?

Went jogging for 10km today with Andrew and Ivy.. I got punched by andrew during the run when I was being a nuisance keeping up with him. After that, when I was washing my hair, I found out that hair was dropping off my head. A few strands just come off when i grab my head.. O.O

Car Fan Belt

On the way to JB late last year, at a Senawang rest stop, some idiot low life shithead sneaked under the car and broke the car's fan belt while the rest of my family was away. I was the only one in the car but I wasn't really aware. This went unnoticed at first.. until a few minutes later along the way, we noticed that the car's air conditioner can't seem to get any colder.

We stopped at the nearest rest stop and we learned that something was missing from the fan under the hood.. Later, some chinese guy approached us and offered help, he was soft-spoken and looked queer.. My father turned down the offer.

A few minutes later, while my father was trying to contact our mechanic, an indian man approached, again offering help. He claimed that he had a friend in the nearby town, and said that he could call his friend to help us. Again, my father declined. He tried again, to offer help but was refused again by my father.

I watched as he returns to his car. He had stopped on the opposite side of the highway! He had to cross two heavy traffic paths, just to get to his car. I started wondering how in the world did he know we were in trouble when he was on the other side of the highway, and why would he be so kind to offer help.

30 minutes later, the friendly tow truck arrived and towed the car to a mechanic in the nearby town. After talking with the mechanic there, it turned out that our type of case were very common throughout the area. o.O

There are many syndicates in the area who prey on people like us. They would mark a target, send a person to sabotage, and another to offer help. The indian and chinese guys who approached us must be in on it! That explains how he knew that we were in trouble although he was on the other side.

The mechanic also told us that if we had agreed to let those guys help us, they would have brought us to a mechanic who would have scammed us for much more, say RM2000 or they will never let us go.. O.O Btw, the fan only costed 200 bucks to fix. Lucky us XD

Heat

In 2005, the cooling system in our car malfunctioned somewhere in Johor and our car's internal temperature reached 115C. We had to stop outside a military outpost.. O.O The malay guy in uniform with an M-16 rifle in the gatepost was intimidating. My father got out of the car, opened the hood, walked into the military compound into the building to request for help in moving the car away from the road into the compound. Conveniently, beside the entrance, a sign says "Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again"
Seeing my father walk in, he probably didn't see that sign. I got afraid, thinking my blur father might be shot.. Obviously he didnt..

Jacket and a cutlery set

OMG, just found out my maid stole them...

Parvin today - Futsal - slammed ball into my face - broke my glasses

Cows

I saw cows by the side of the road this saturday.. Congratz cows.. Never knew you would be the first four-legged animal to be captured on my phone!

Shoes

Some low-life shithead broke into the house and stole a total of 4 pairs of shoes. Two of which were mine.. >.<

Stalls

Lately I started to notice that my brother stalls every time we're about to enter the tuition center. I realized that I was always leading the way into the tuition class, with him close behind. So one day, I decided to experiment with him for fun, I got out of the car slower than usual. But as we approach the entrance, he purposely take his shoes out slowly so that I would enter first...

15+ Year Old Turtle

My uncle and aunt's 15 year old+ pet turtle recently died. O.o The maid claims that the turtle had died soon after she had finished scrubbing it.. I suspect her of scrubbing the turtle with soap powder, with the intention of killing it. Damn her!!!! It was suppose to live pass my death, probably 200 years more or something... !!

Kidnapping My Bro

"my brother discussed with our parents and we learned it was actually a friend of my father's"

Apparently, and according to my bro; he almost got kidnapped O.O . I, of course did not believe it. Andrew claims that an extremely nice and friendly-looking man whom he greeted got into a white van and started tailing him for a few minutes. My brother, then started to panic and sprinted into the park nearby away from the road. The van then sped off.

Later that night, my brother discussed with our parents and we learned it was actually a friend of my father's =_=". Well, that did not convince my brother and now he even considers jogging with a switch-knife in his pocket..

PJ clothes

I lost my PJ clothes

Pee

I was on my way back from school when I saw a guy, probably working in an office, dressed smartly peeing by the side of the busy road at a tree.

Err..

I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait!

Cross Country - Luck?? (Long Post)

Yeahhhzzz, it feels good to be first! XD But it wasn't really a straightforward win for me like my sister who lead all the way since the stairs, there was a slight confusion that happened to the first two leaders, Hafizani and Vaenthan during cross-country that ultimately got them 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Okay, from the beginning, I was jogging with Akhil side by side since the start. Yugan was a few meters in front jogging next to some malay dude while Andrew was trailing behind us. Vaenthan, of course was leading the pack as early as Limau Purut, probably one of the first to run up the stairs.

Shortly after Akhil and I climbed the stairs, I noticed my untied shoelaces(probably stepped on it without noticing) and accidentally cursed out loud near Cik Kuah o.O. However I didn't want to stop to tie my shoelaces, afraid of losing valuable time and messing up my rhythm considering I was already about 400 metres behind Vaenthan.

On the flat ground, right before the hill, when we were running beside the busy highway, Akhil started to drop back and I was already side by side with Yugan, Andrew still trailing close behind us. I could see Vaenthan far in front, already starting to climb the foot of the hill and I got quite worried.

Climbing the hill, woah. It was damn tiring, there were a few people who noticed my free laces and kindly pointed it out, I repeatedly replied that I know about it. Halfway up the hill, it was getting steeper than ever, I started to realize Akhil had dropped back and he was no more in sight. Passed quite a lot of people and then a fourth guy pointed out my free laces, I was already feeling quite tired and all I ever did to acknowledge him was a few nods without looking back.

When I think back at this, it could have seemed to him to be an arrogant feedback from me. I'm kinda feeling bad about it... Anyway, I was already just trying to finish the race with a decent 15, because the hill had really demoralized me and I wasn't really seeing any of the front leaders. Nearing the top of the hill, Yugan had dropped back and Andrew started to run beside me up until the short downward decline where I started to increase my pace a little but insignificantly.

Shortly after the decline, Andrew was at the back of me, still keeping up and that's when I saw Hafizani and Vaenthan at the flat bend curving to the right with another left lower path leading somewhere else. Vaenthan and Hafizani had slowed down and came to a complete stop at that split road. Vaenthan and Hafizani started to half-shoutingly ask the marshals behind me, they were both shouting because the checkpoint guys was quite blur, not saying anything and he wasn't too keen on helping us because he's in Laksamana. =.=

As I approach closer to them, Vaenthan got pissed and decided to take a chance and started heading the wrong way, towards the lower pathway to the left while Hafizani was raising his voice, clearly getting a bit hot-tempered because the people at the checkpoints were still blur. Hafizani was saying,"LARI MANA??! ATAS KE BAWAH?!!" "Mana ada atas?? Pergi straight jer!" replied the checkpoint guy. When Vaenthan was a few steps into the wrong path, I shouted, pointing out that the bend towards the right was the right direction, and he began to jog back to the right track.

Hafizani and Vaenthan believed me and started to run in front of me. Right now, I'm third, andrew's fourth and Vaenthan is first followed closely by Hafizani. They were quiet for a few seconds until we arrive the top of the long downhill road near the ex-prime minister's residence (or right before the checkpoint where Pui Yee was)(or right before the busy road). At the top, Hafizani and Vaenthan started to have doubts again, they peered down the hill and they could see nobody, probably because Pui Yee and all were sitting at the side, on the curb and could not really be seen because there were a few trees.

I on the other hand, spotted the checkpoint but was reluctant to tell them. I thought to myself, "Why should I help them the second time? I have already told them that this was the right way". At the very moment they slowed down and started to look back at the Laksamana checkpoint guy, I took advantage and started an all-out sprint down the hill while having some sense of fear that I might somehow trip over my free shoelace. They started to chase after me after realizing that I was running for it. This all happened in just a few seconds.

I probably started running down the hill with a 4 second head start before they did. That was when I first started to think that maybe I might stand a chance to be first. Pui Yee and the other checkpoint people, (i can't really remember, Kok yan and a teacher was there too I think) started to cheer loudly so it gave me an idea that I was leading. I wasn't really sure about it until I reached the park where the teachers near the road were shoutiing that I was leading and that I have to continue. I was being pressed by Hafizani who was just a few seconds behind me and we all sprinted and gave it all we've got to reach the finish line.

Finally, I managed to stay in front until the school tarmac. I felt so dizzy and weird when I came to a halt at the counter where I took my number. Right after that, I had run another short distance to the last counter where the teacher wrote my name. There, I felt thrilled and happy that I had came first. Hafizani arrived shortly followed by Vaenthan and then my brother then Yugan.

We 5 started to talk about what happened, Vaenthan and Hafizani both were expressing how angry they felt at the checkpoint guy for delaying them.. and later my sister arrived 1st. I felt equally happy for her but I found out she kinda had an anti-climatic ending for her last cross-country. Akhil eventually came in 29th, Shipren came in 49th, Parvin came in 163rd and Weng came in 164th..
So yeah, cross-country was fun!

Worst Illness Experience

Ahh, finally got well from that torturing food poisoning (or dyspepsia I think).

Exactly a week ago in the evening, I had just finished jogging with my sister at the hill in Mont Kiara when I bought a bottle of soya bean drink from the stall nearby. That drink made my stomach bloat later that night and at about 4am the next day I started vomiting, followed by diarrhea. I think I vomited about 8 times at that following day, I had a bad case of diarrhea too.

Everyday, I would feel dizzy and out of balance. Vomiting and crapping became very frequent. I would always prefer to sit or lie down as walking became such a chore. On the second and third day, all I ever ate was a few tablespoons of porridge, hardly enough to satisfy what my body need. I developed a fever around the third or forth day as I had eaten very little due to the constant bloat I felt on my belly.

Even waiting in the clinic's lobby put me into maximum discomfort. All this happened because of a stupid 750 ml bottle I drank. My sister narrowly escaped all this when she originally chose the soya bean but switched it later to a herbal drink.
