TEK IT

Okbye.

Beside Oprah and the Queen O.o

Haizz!
Been doing a lot of studying lately.

I KEED.

Aside from walking in on Andrew who was reading a WikiHow article on "How to Treat a Girl" just now, I did household chores after a spontaneous badminton match in my garden this morning, just to distract myself from the urgency of studying.

We celebrated Akhil's birthday at La Bodega last saturday, and I was surprised to see (or unsee) how my black dudes turned out in the pictures. :D

where's Parvin and Gav?!

where's Yugan?!

Where's Barat?!

And,

I started eating Dim Sum after a really long time. It's awesome

Restoran Hong Kee near Atria in SS2

Looks like a girl's book right? (I read it)

Me : Nudge!
Najya : *turns back* Yeah?
Me  : Not you. I meant "nudge" as in *nudges Akhil*

OMG.OKBYE.

Bumbu Bali

There's a restaurant called Bumbu Bali in Bandar Puteri Puchong that's so awesome!

Bumbu Bali Trio =O
Cumi-cumi Goreng (fried squid with potato) , Sate Lilit, BBQ Wings, mixed vege, Sambal, Lemongrass, Mayonaise sauceeeeeeee

Awesomeness : Delicious authentic Balinese food!
Un-Awesomeness : The spiral stairs can kill you

And,

The only two scenes worth watching =D

The movie, Passengers is a "The Sixth Sense" copier! Felt so cheated after it turned out to be more of a love story than the psychological thriller it claimed to be. =.=

A Just Cause

WOMG! Been spending the last week playing this game called Just Cause 2. It's a GTA-style sandbox game based on the Malay archipelago, in other words, Malaysia. Except that they call the island Panau and turned the twin towers into a casino.. (just to name a few)

One of the reasons why i really loved this game so much is because they have such awesome Malay names for the places. Like Ramai Rakyat Islands, Gunung Gila Pangkat Facility, Awan Cendawan Nuclear Power Plant or Permainan Racun Chemical Plant.

As a side mission, there are many "colonels" which you've been tasked with assasinating scattered all over this humongous game map. Their names are typically malay, but somehow out of place. For example, Colonel Danyal Mail has been nicknamed "Fe-Mail" because he has expressed incredible interest in gossip, daytime soap operas and female apparel.. I'm still looking for him, without fail..

There's also this Colonel Malaka.. O.o

Colonel Hamid Hitam

Throughout the whole game you'll come across many civilians, and the civilians could either be chinese, malay or indian.

a homeless lady..

Apart from that, you spend most of the time blowing up government property like propaganda trailers, military bases, gas stations etc. Even the president of Panau looks a bit like Najib.. =D
Here are awesome pics I've taken in the game :

Kem General Hong XD

Penang Bridge XD

Istana Pagaruyung (familiar?)

Panau Falls Casino (klcc duh)

(parachuting into) Bandar Baru Cina

blowing up a gas station

Aaaaah, there are many more exotic and even "sensual" places to go to in the game. There are airports, both military and civilian for you to cause chaos and planes for you to hijack. The sky's the limit, there's also a mile high club that you will eventually find.

Panau Military Space Station? Oh they make our country look so capable!

There's also this mysterious island called Hantu Island, where all the ships and planes in the vicinity mysteriously vanish and is never heard of again. O.O Panau's very own version of the bermuda triangle... Hmmm, I don't wanna spoil it for you so if you play the game, you'll find out why..

And what you might find on Hantu Island is..... pretty strange... to say the least.. =S

Escalator

Witnessed an old lady falling down an escalator in mid valley today.. O.O

And, Towerthon is really crazy.

Eclipse

Found my whole pocket full of eclipse mint pieces after tuition today because I didn't close the capsule properly..

Alice in Wonderland

Watched Alice in Wonderland beside this unknown tudung girl in the twin seats. Apart from the awkward feeling, the movie wasn't that bad.. But not that good either.. =D

Power Run, MSSMKL and Sports Day

Just went through a really "sporty" first week of the month. XD

Starting with the latest..

March 6th
I had mixed feelings after Sports Day

It was fun, but somehow felt a little unsatisfying.. =/

Came to school early to get dressed with the shirts, props and banners but it started raining heavily not long after that. Such a downer as we had to wait for it to stop, while knowing that we'd be marching and running on a paddy field not long after that.

80m track

Shortly after marching, the 80m sprints began. Nothing was wrong except that it was bit muddy. As soon as the 200m events began, people started to question the cones which represent the starting points as they appeared really far apart. We had quartermasters and officials present who claimed that they did accurate measurements about the track.

starting point gap in the 200m events

So the first 200m event began, and if I'm not mistaken it was the U-15 girls category.. Our temenggung runner on the 1st lane slipped at the end of the first curve while the runners on the second last and last lane got 2nd and 1st respectively as they were well clear of the muddy turning point, leading many to believe that the distance between the starting points were unfair.

Whether if it was unfair or not, I got tired and just continued watching most of the athletes of the first lane get into some sort of trouble in many races..

Temenggung lost to Syahbandar in the end and apparently they didn't count marks for cross country cause if they did, we would have won by a lot.. Haihh..

Spent the most of the first week of March at MSSMKL

March 1st

Felt so relieved after finding out that I didn't have to run any events because my legs were aching.. =S
Cheered for our school's athletes.

March 2nd

Didn't have any events again.. Yugan went for long jump, Abhi had 400m sprinting. The guys had 4x100m events.
Cheered for our school's athletes.

March 3rd

Jasreel and I had a terrifying wait for our 1500m event which only began at 4 in the evening! Spend most of the time chilling out at the SMK Sri Permaisuri's canteen.. Khishan is damn horny. Watched 4x100m finals. Jazreel and I ended up last and 2nd last respectively in 1500m. =D Left the stadium at 5, went to tuition at 5.30... Arghh

March 4th

Unexpectedly had to go for MSSMKL for the 4th time because Jasreel, Yugan, Hafizani and I got drafted in for the 4x400m event at the last minute.. Azrul and the gang who were supposed to take part in it pulled out because they were exhausted and wanted to earn points in the school's raptai for sports day. The 4x400m event was due at 9.30.

We reached at 7.50 and spent most of the time warming up and discussing our running and receiving techniques. Yugan had a lot of problems finding for a pair of spikes and managed to find one just 20 minutes before it began. Runners from first to last : Me, Yugan, Zani, Jasreel. After all the hype and stuff, we got last.. =D

It was 10.45, Yugan and I decided to take off on foot for the Salak South station in hopes of making it for the sports dry run. After 20 minutes of walking, we took the LRT to the Masjid Jamek station and made an unnecessary walk to Central Market to continue on to Bangsar.

Bought an old town mocha drink to accompany me for another 15 minute walk under the hot sun all the way back to school. Reached school at 12, was fooling around in the Teratak when I accidentally cut my under-thigh and calf by a faulty sharp-edged metal chair. Went straight to the clinic to bandage the gash and returned to school again at 1.50 for my house's marching rehearsal. =S

March 5th

Last sports dry run after assembly until 11. Tug-O-war for the losing bracket began at around 12. L1 and P1 Temenggung was against Syahbandar for the 3rd position. Both our categories lost..

February 28th

Went for Power Run with Ivy and Andrew

Hardest cross country track ever, and I thought our school's route this year was bad enough. I finished in 55 minutes although it was a 6.2 km track! We ran in the jungle for the majority of the time! Really windy, narrow dangerous, steep routes and human traffic jams. Apparently the track was converted from the world-renowned mountain biking route and it was also the most we have ever suffered / sweated. My whole pants was literally dripping of sweat. My sister finished in an hour and 5 minutes but she got 5th in her category.

The lunch coupon in my trousers was stuck to the pocket and tore as i tried taking it out to redeem it.. Cold milo and meehoon never tasted so good! XD

Hopefully we can do better for Towerthon on the 21st.. =D

Cross Country 10', CNY, DVDs, Maids, Returning to Melaka

2th February

Cross country was fun, managed to get 5th this time. Kinda expected it cause I got lazy in my training.. =S Was skeptical of the track's true distance so Andrew measured the distance on google maps and it was actually 8km! No wonder all of us took such a long time to finish!

The top 5 was all temenggung for L1! Woot! Azrul, Andrew, Yew Lum, Hafizani, Me

15th February

Ahh, first dinner in JB was steamboat with all sorts of dishes. Had fun playing as the dealer in poker after that. Bagged a solid RM10 even though I didn't even bring any money to gamble at my uncle's house. XD

16th February

"Ruby" said that our eyes, ears, nostrils, hands and limbs are not exactly matching to each other (i.e one eye is slightly smaller than the other). All this time I had thought that only our legs and limbs aren't exactly symmetrical. o.o

For breakfast, we ate some roti kosong and teh tarik for a change..

teh tarik

For lunch, we came across this "Korean Family Restaurant"in JB and they probably serve one of the best korean food I've ever tasted!

korean bbq ftw

Had another lavish meal at a typical Chinese cuisine for dinner again.. Been stuffing myself these past few days. =O

17th February

Been spending the last 3 days in Johor Bahru for CNY. Gotta admit that the piracy here is such a blessing! Dual-layer DVDs in a full blu-ray casing for just 10 bucks. XD

Went to Jusco mall in Tebrau city this afternoon to watch Valentine's Day at TGV cinemas. Popcorn was so much better than GSC but they're so inefficient at distributing the tickets. Waited a reaaally long time just to get them.. There were so many people lining up!

18th February

Learnt that the super-nice maid we used to live with in JB steals. Too bad our relatives only found out after she had left 2 years ago.. =S

We convinced our parents to stop by Melaka on the way back. We had our lunch in Ole Sayang, the very same place Andrew, Ray, Weng, Gav, Jon and I spent our dinner during our Melaka trip.. =D

returning to Ole Sayang..

After lunch, we took off for the Lao Qian Ice Cafe in Jonker Walk.

crowded street

Melaka was, of course, flocked by many tourists and locals who were coming home for Chinese New Year. There were so many people compared to the chilled-out Melaka we knew back then in December.

still as good as before!

Tiramisu, Jelly and Cats

Instructions, awesome.

Tiramisu, awesome.

Layered-jelly cake, gay but awesome.

plushie, the awesomest.

Blindness

I'm not a car nut.

But this is awesome =D

I used to be "car-blind", but now I'm not so sure anymore.. But there's this thing that puzzles me, why are all indian people car nuts?

Many different people have their different reactions when they see such a car like this.

For example :

The Indian's reaction

The Chinese' reaction

Arsharvin's reaction

And,

I wanna watch Zoolander cause it features Malaysia in it! XD

Another Update

23rd January

Bought Modern Warfare 2!!! (finally).

Rio De Janeiro

23rd January

Lincoln Memorial

40 miles east of Petropavlovsk, Russia

Finished Modern Warfare 2!! =D

25th January

I cut my own gum while chewing ice in Pelita.

 26th January

Akhil is a dumbass for distracting me in class until I got in trouble with teacher.Got stung by some weird insect at my foot.

27th January

Akhil is such a dumbass again by holding me accountable for a really stupid question he asked to the SAME teacher whom he got me in trouble with. He did that right after she picked on me and gave the whole class a long lecture hinting to what had happened the day before.

28th January

Got scolded for smiling.

And,

a game bug

Look Look

Luk Luk in Solaris.

Haha, it's been a long time since I've taken a bite from these instant-steamboat kinda stalls. We found one in Solaris so we decided to try it out.. =D

And,
Spider Man 4's cancellation sucks.
Avatar shouldn't have won Best Picture, overrated like hell.

Futuristic Pocohantas

Avatar's visuals were amazing!

But the story was really predictable and it shouldn't have been that long. Reminded me a so much of another movie but I couldn't really find out what that was at the time. Now I know that it's plot was almost exactly similar to Disney's Pocohantas..

And,

Aww....

Disappointment

As much as I was deeply disgusted by the current political events, it goes the same for the shock I had for certain persons whom, only until now, had I previously thought to be open-minded for.

Largely preferred it if they did not do certain things, which I'm sure, to most people would have deemed offensive.

I struggle to find the reason behind this discovery of late. One could only assume that they suffered the absence of the liberty of being well informed.

Dedication

Hmm, got into 4 Dedikasi.. =/ I guess I'll have to see how things turn out in some time..

Got home from school yesterday when my grandfather said the most random thing to me.

He said, "Oi! You uselass asshole, I think I'm gonna win the lottery this time lah! And when I do, you're going to England to become a lawyahh " o.O

Too bad he didn't strike huh..

And,

I watched Paranormal Activity!

It might be one of the best horror movies I've seen so far! Got Andrew and I so scared while we were watching at night until we had to call our father downstairs to accompany us. Lol

Also met a funny drunkard man in Canteena today

Thought us many valuable lessons about pool. He says that a ball is a woman, and it is your job to f*** her well by hitting her into the pockets. Can't really explain in much detail because I might get flagged. It was hilariously funny when he was explaining his interesting metaphors. XD

Stuff and Stuff

Woah, quite some time since my last post. On to the update..

20th December

Ashvin, Gav, Ray, Andrew, Weng and I went for Jon's Christmas dinner where we had a lot of fun singing Christmas carols with a bunch of "Churchy" people who then tried to convert a few of us after that.

We tried as hard as we can to contain our laughter when we were singing the part where we had to repeat the lyrics "yes lord, yes lord, yes, yes lord!" many times all over again until it sounded like we were crying out in orgasm. Lol! XD

Listened to a funny speech by a woman member of the church. Emphasizing the word "come" so much like "da lord cum into da world" =D

Anyway, took off for CC around 9.30 and played and played and played and played... After that we stopped by at the famous coffee shop for their drinks then proceeded back on to Jon's house and watched a scary movie.

Jon teached me a few basic notes on guitar
