Haizz!
Been doing a lot of studying lately.
I KEED.
Aside from walking in on Andrew who was reading a WikiHow article on "How to Treat a Girl" just now, I did household chores after a spontaneous badminton match in my garden this morning, just to distract myself from the urgency of studying.
We celebrated Akhil's birthday at La Bodega last saturday, and I was surprised to see (or unsee) how my black dudes turned out in the pictures. :D
where's Parvin and Gav?!
where's Yugan?!

A Just Cause
Posted by Bryan Hong on Saturday, April 10, 2010
WOMG! Been spending the last week playing this game called Just Cause 2. It's a GTA-style sandbox game based on the Malay archipelago, in other words, Malaysia. Except that they call the island Panau and turned the twin towers into a casino.. (just to name a few)
One of the reasons why i really loved this game so much is because they have such awesome Malay names for the places. Like Ramai Rakyat Islands, Gunung Gila Pangkat Facility, Awan Cendawan Nuclear Power Plant or Permainan Racun Chemical Plant.
As a side mission, there are many "colonels" which you've been tasked with assasinating scattered all over this humongous game map. Their names are typically malay, but somehow out of place. For example, Colonel Danyal Mail has been nicknamed "Fe-Mail" because he has expressed incredible interest in gossip, daytime soap operas and female apparel.. I'm still looking for him, without fail..
There's also this Colonel Malaka.. O.o
Throughout the whole game you'll come across many civilians, and the civilians could either be chinese, malay or indian.

Colonel Hamid Hitam

a homeless lady..
Apart from that, you spend most of the time blowing up government property like propaganda trailers, military bases, gas stations etc. Even the president of Panau looks a bit like Najib.. =D
Here are awesome pics I've taken in the game :
Kem General Hong XD
Penang Bridge XD
Istana Pagaruyung (familiar?)
Panau Falls Casino (klcc duh)
(parachuting into) Bandar Baru Cina
blowing up a gas station
Aaaaah, there are many more exotic and even "sensual" places to go to in the game. There are airports, both military and civilian for you to cause chaos and planes for you to hijack. The sky's the limit, there's also a mile high club that you will eventually find.
Panau Military Space Station? Oh they make our country look so capable!
There's also this mysterious island called Hantu Island, where all the ships and planes in the vicinity mysteriously vanish and is never heard of again. O.O Panau's very own version of the bermuda triangle... Hmmm, I don't wanna spoil it for you so if you play the game, you'll find out why..
And what you might find on Hantu Island is..... pretty strange... to say the least.. =S

Alice in Wonderland

Watched Alice in Wonderland beside this unknown tudung girl in the twin seats. Apart from the awkward feeling, the movie wasn't that bad.. But not that good either.. =D
